Somewhere out in the cold, barren dark of the moor, the nightmare hound prowled with fire and murder in its eyes...
Based on one of the best loved Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Hound of the Baskervilles brought a night of mystery and chills to Lane End.
Back in the 18th century, Sir Hugo Baskerville was the very picture of cruelty, drunkenness and debauchery. Legend tells how his wickedness was punished — a ghostly hound from the underworld hunted him down on the barren moors. Nothing but colourful folklore apparently, and yet today, more than two hundred years later, Hugo’s descendant Charles seems to have met a similar fate.
Trapped in an isolated manor on the edge of the bleak moor, can Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson solve the mystery of the Hound before Sir Charles’ heir comes to an equally horrific end?
Hound of the Baskervilles reunites much of the cast and crew of 2009’s ‘Jekyll and Hyde’, for an entertaining evening full of intense performances and eerie special effects.
