Fridays at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 1pm and 5:30pm
The Snow Queen! Inspired by the original story by Hans Christian Andersen, it is the tale of plucky Gerda, a young girl who sets out to rescue her best friend Kay from the icy clutches of the evil Snow Queen, who wants to rule the world and make it winter all the time.
A hilarious romp through a winter wonderland and meet a host of lovable characters including Ben and Jerry, the bumbling Icemen, a reindeer called Randolph, Shorty the Tall Dwarf who is struggling with elf esteem, a yeti, and our dame, Lily Bloom, a florist who has lost the plot! There was comedy and mayhem, magic tricks and puppetry, music and dancing and a live band too.

What our audiences said
"I went to the Panto (Snow Queen) tonight with my wife... It was a brilliant night with some great talent on stage.... I chatted to strangers there seemed to be lots of community spirit even though Xmas has passed it was a good hearty night of entertainment (everyone including the kids shouting, singing and clapping along).... Hats off to all concerned, the cast (of course) but, the costume makers, the technical people, the band, the set makers, director(s) The organisers, it is obvious an immense amount of time and work goes into the production. Tonight Lane End did itself proud both show wise and audience, I for one am so pleased I went and a really heartfelt well done to all involved in producing the event. Thanks to all :-)"
"I took my two boys to the opening night on Friday and I have to say it was incredible. All three of us laughed from beginning to end. The singing, acting, music, lighting and staging were all wonderful. My youngest said it was better than the one at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre this year so high praise indeed. Well done to all involved and we will be keeping an eye out for future shows!"
