DescriptionOur spring production for 2022 was an adaptation of the popular Jules Verne novel of 1872
COVID caused our pantomime in January to be cancelled by we soldiered on and Martin Hailey took the reigns to direct Mark Brown's adadptation of the Jules Verne novel "Around the World in 80 Days". This was a fun adapation which allowed for plenty of imagination from the director, cast and crew whether they were recreating a ship's voyage, riding an elephant or climbing around on a moving train. Some of the actors took on multpile roles, from multiple nations around the globe. Cost of living increases and the lingering shadow of COVID meant ticket sales were a bit a lower than prvious years however the audiences really enjoyed this exciting, imaginative, version of a well loved story.
