LEP on show at the 2025 village fete
Story
The Lane End village fete took place on Saturday 14th June 2025. The village fete has been a summer event in Lane End for many, many years and a fantastic day which always brings the local community together. This year the sun was shining and there were smiles all round as the locals enjoyed the annual dog show, the infamous Zippy Dipper, the BBQ and bar and many other stalls. As always the Lane End Players had a stall and big thanks goes to Kath Gill who planned and managed the whole thing.
We had games including 'Guess the name of the duck' which did as the LEP always do and entertained the locals. A number of our group members helped out throughout the day including Lisa Harnett who, despite the warm weather, walked around in full costume to help promote the LEP and our upcoming productions.
This was a great event to be part of and we will continue to do so for many years to come!
