The Lane End Players held a murder mystery evening which included a slap up meal for the audience as well as the entertaining murder mystery play.
This summer (June 2018) the Lane End Players decided to have a murder mystery evening in-lieu of a traditional LEP Summer Show. Ceri Nicolson took on the role of director and together with the committee put together a fun evening which included supper for the audience (and the cast). The play used was called "Who Murdered the Vicar" by Chris Martin although this title wasn't used to promote the show so that the audience weren't aware of which character was murdered. The audience had to decided who the thought the murderer was and in the end the team with the correct answer and best reason was awarded the winning prize. It was a fun entertaining evening enjoyed by all.
