In August 2014, The Lane End Players presented "We Shall Keep the Faith" commemorating the centenary of the First World War
In 2014 the Lane End Players were asked to perform something in commemoration of the centenary of the First World War to be held at Framers Court in Lane End. As always the LEP rose to the challenge and with the Musical Direction of Sarah Westcott produced "We Shall Keep the Faith" which was performed at Framers Court in August 2014. The performance was devised and directed by Lane End Players Chairman Kath Gill and the cast included members of the Players. The performance included songs and other pieces including readings, poems and various sketches. This was a well received event and those in attendance were delighted with the performance. This was a fitting commemoration of the First World War and as always well delivered by the Lane End Players...who knows maybe we'll do it all again in another hundred years. |
